Gathering in faith to share God's love

Welcome to our Parish of St Mary’s Honley with St George's Brockholes, set in the beautiful Holme Valley, south of Huddersfield.

We are an inclusive church and we gather week by week to worship God and share His love. Our two churches are also here for major life events, whether you’re a regular churchgoer or not.

The services are an important part of our ministry, but our churches are also places where people can gather to enjoy each other’s company.

So if you are simply visiting or looking for a place to call home, you can be sure of a warm welcome at any of our services. We look forward to meeting you.

You are welcome to join us on Sundays at Honley or Brockholes for Morning Worship or our services of sung Holy Communion.

Our Church family is made up of people from various backgrounds with differing interests, talents and needs.

We’re trying to discover what it means to follow Jesus. If you’re not perfect, you’ll fit in well. Why not join us for one of our services and see for yourself?

Sundays:

Holy Communion at 9.30am at Honley and 11am at Brockholes, except on the first Sunday of the month when there is Morning Worship for all ages at both churches. There's a Quiet Communion on the first Sunday at 4pm at St Mary's.

Wednesdays:

Said Holy Communion at 9:30am in St Mary’s.

Choir enjoys Evensong at Farnley

Members of our choir were delighted to lead Evensong from the choir stalls at St Lucius' Church, Farnley Tyas last Sunday.

Drop by for coffee on a Thursday

Every Thursday, the Church hosts a coffee morning at 10am, which is open for anyone to drop in and enjoy a cuppa and chat with friends.
